Default British Film Council now online

For anyone interested in short films about the UK from 1939 - 1950 the British Film Councils films are online from today. Unfortunately I remember some of these being shown in school

At the moment there are supposed to be 120 films but I can only find 80 but it's a look at how we were for those who weren't here and for others who have forgotten

They work on iPad as well which is a bonus

Thumbs up

Watched a bit of the "We of the West Riding", how times have changed. Informative with some great camera work and little touches which add to the reality while putting a smile on your face......like the shot of the little dog watering the gas lamp as the film rolls into the 1st street scene.

Never knew that there were 3 Ridings, only ever heard 2 mentioned previously - east and west.
