Tomorrow my son and I are off to Holy Island at the north part of Northumberland, and the weather is about 23° tomorrow. We must leave the island before the tide rise above the island road about 14.30 until about 19.45.No way we want to be there stuck with nothing to do ffor overview 5 hours.
Good morning Richard

If you get the chance please take photos and post them up as we have never been to Holy Island.

On Saturday we had lunch with some family we had never met before, a distant cousin on Jessica’s side. A year ago her husband had a major bleed on the brain and this resulted in him having to have brain surgery with one side of his skull being removed. Fortunately they live close to the hospital and the surgery was performed within the hour of this happening. He made a good recovery, speech and life saved, but had to stop working and retire from his job as a university professor. He is able to drive and has offered to take us to a historical cemetery where he works as tour guide volunteer part time. He has some weakness down one side and he gets tired in the afternoons, but he manages and makes the best of things. Like yourself, the surgeons were able to put his head back together again.

Have a great day out with your son, enjoy.

Good morning everyone

Today we are having a free day, so we may go to the tidal pool for a swim or we could go for a country walk. Rain is forecast for tomorrow and cooler until the weekend when the temperatures go back up.

Sorry, no bad news or anything miserable to report

I’ll do a few if I can put them on here later on Phil
If you fancy to go there you are depend how long you can stay or wait until the times low, but if you’re wanting to star you will need to wait about 5 weeks to wait for the tides to disappear for another few hours. You can find them here Holy Island tide times, you have each month right including December.

It's put a fair bit of rain down overnight & today but no standing water to be seen anywhere. The ground has soaked it up.

We got a little wet when it rained very quickly at Holy Island, but it soon came out with the sun again.
