It looks lovely there Jeff, it looks like a sunny day in Acle.
We’ve had rain nearly most of the night and all day, it’s still peeing down outside and it’s been quite cold in the rain, the temperature on the Insignia read between 8 and 9° all day.
We have finished the living room and the kitchen at my late mothers flat or nearly all packed for a charity, but we have about 4 full wardrobes to pack the clothes out again for the charity, then a small cupboard for the bathroom with a lot of junk to chuck out, that should be everything the people who have bought the house are asking their solicitors to do conveyance which should be ready to be ready to move in just a couple to four weeks.

Hi Richard,

Sorry the weather hasn't been up to much your way.
The forecast is for rain here tomorrow but I'm just enjoying a couple of chilled days on the boat. I'm leaving Monday morning and heading out to a job not far from here before going home.
Sounds like you have been keeping busy and your recovery is going well

Absolutely! We still have so much to keep the charity and get each item wrap in bubble wrap before boxing it, it sounds not much to do but when everything is done it can take away. I can’t do anything myself as everything as needs to looked before giving to charity before it can be good for them or not.
We are going to ask them this time because a couple of men came one day checked everything to take and quoted us for over £300 but we have packed nearly everything for them so we need to see if they can without empty every cupboard and wardrobes, and just come with no charges for just come to empty the flat.

Cool

Good morning everyone.

The rain has stopped, for now.

Up early as I’m off to Goonhavern to meet up with the CMGOC for breakfast at the Baytree restaurant. Then we are convoying up to the steam railway at Buckfastleigh via Saltash and the Tamar bridge.

As it is drive it day there will be a meeting of other cars at the railway.
We are booked on the 14.15 train to Totnes, in our own reserved carriages.

Morning all, What a grey day out there. Cracking photo again Jeff. I've not been in the garage yet to check the mouse traps, Brekkie first.

Morning all,

Thanks Ian.
The good news is, after a dull start first thing the sun is now out and it's rather nice out there. A moderate breeze but nothing that bad.
I may take Lady Emma out later depending on the weather holding. Hoping to get along to the Bridge Inn for some grub at some point as well

Good morning everyone

Good morning Andy, in 1990, I was in the fortunate position of having completed BSAC Ocean Diving training whilst at East London Poly (it was a fill in subject) and I made use of it in between work trip MediVacs to and from the Caribbean.

Of course in those days I was quite fit and my deepest dive was three miles off the coast of Jamaica to a depth of about 30m. Most of the dives were shallow and just as enjoyable.

I went down with a dive buddy from the dive company as those are the rules. I remember that feeling of peace and tranquility under the waves. The beauty of the Caribbean is the warm waters….once qualified you will be able to dive anywhere in the world.

Diving can be addictive and fun, have a great time, stay safe

Morning all, it must be the same weather Jeff is seeing this morning.
No more packing goods at my mother’s flat today, it will be next Saturday when we go to do pack more stuff.
