Morning. Still way too windy to try to do anything with the acer. Temporary fix yesterday is still holding it upright.

My apologies Richard for my late reply. I thought the doctors advice was sensible and I felt reassured by what he had to say when he suggested I have the aneurysm operation in the UK and not in Kenya for all of the right reasons.

Jessica’s operation was brought forward to Thursday. So when I went to collect her, I had to go to the operating theatre suite where they had 7 theatres working. Everything was busy and noisy.

In the bay next to Jessica was a screaming baby and a surgeon suddenly appeared from one of the theatres shouting and complaining, something or someone had him all worked up. Perhaps what he really needed was a Scotch to calm his nerves and steady his hands.

On checking Jessica’s hospital bill, I found she had been over charged for anti-embolism stockings £30 even though she had not been given any, so I had to get that item removed. Health care is private, no NHS.

The operation was a complete success and she is back home doing very well.

I read you are planning on going to Gretna, what a treat for you, hopefully you will have a great day.
