75 Tourer rear screen
Hello all. Does anyone know where I might find a rear screen please?
The filaments on mine are all defunct. Cheers John |

It might seem a bit of a drastic solution, but there seems to be an unusually high number of Tourers MG and Rover 75's currently for sale on ebay for around £500 .
when Mine was an insurance write off, I bought it back, and the insurance company deducted the Scrap value from my pay out, which was £425 ... So assuming you can get around £400 for scrapping the car... it would be worth buying one for £500, take all the bits you want, including the rear screen , then just scrap it, or sell some other bits then scrap it, Youd probably make a few quid, but admittedly it would be a bit of a hassle. Just a thought (i bought a rear tourer window for just £20 when i had the chance about 6 years ago, just in case i ever needed it, after autoscreen came to replace the front one, and advised me if the rear one ever needs replacing , its now considered a right off, cos they wont fit secondhand ones and cant get them new) Last edited by jon cee; 24th June 2024 at 21:27.. |

Would it be legal to fit a plastic rear window?

Can you not still get that conductive paint to repair minor breaks in the elements? Remember getting some for my 213 years (decades) ago from Halfrauds.
I could do with doing both my ZTT and ZT as I've got a couple of what appear to be minor breaks. Might have to investigate.
