Will a Petrol 1.8 clutch got a 2.0 diesel
After the clutch went last Friday I left my tourer at the garage to get it fixed. They will be fixing it tomorrow but I went past tonight and could t help myself and went to say hello to my car. On saying hello to the old girl I noticed the new clutch kit on the back seat......
Bearing in mine this is a 2.0 bmw derv the clutch is a teckmarx csc kit with the part number TECTMKCS00348 with a description of “clutch kit + csc rover 75 1.8 turbo 02> TMKCS00348 B21 Will this clutch fit and be okay in my tourer or not? Should I ring them they know the car is a diesel and I would trust they have the correct part but I feel sick thinking it’s not right and I won’t get my car back tomorrow. Thank you

Yes it will fit...
But you wont have any drive once its all back together, it has to be for a diesel, tell the garage to fit Ap, Borg & Beck or Luk, nothing else will last. |

The driven plate and CSC are the same, but the pressure plate is completely different. Insist upon a LUK REPSET PRO kit to be fitted, otherwise the job will need doing again in short order Brian Last edited by marinabrian; 14th August 2018 at 21:40.. |
