Morning all,

To all you snotty and generally unwell friends I hope you have a decent day and are the road to a full recovery .

We have news on M-in-L .

Hip op is today. Depending on how it goes then anything from a few days to a couple of weeks in hospital. Everything crossed for a good result.

Collected F-in-L's flowers. If anyone has a use for an awful lot of flowers please let me know so I can get them off our kitchen table . Have to say they are beautiful.

Quizzie has been oblivious to all the stress and heartache. She's been on an overnight with friends so has been played with, pampered and had her legs walked off. . She's now back home for a rest.

Take care everyone.

Good morning
Mild start to the day and the sunshine is just poking through the clouds.
Replacement halogen oven arriving today as the fan bearing in the old one has finally given up the ghost after 12 years I've tried and failed to remove and replace the old bearing a few times so time for a new one, just caught the end of the January sales so 50% off list price.
Still getting used to the efficiency of our local medical centre, Mrs G phoned yesterday to make an appointment to have her shingles vaccination, once again only a couple of minutes wait for the phone to be answered by a polite and helpful receptionist and an appointment was arranged for lunchtime today.
Enjoy your day and get well soon to those of you who are under the weather.

Laundry day here with that infernal tumble drier on Looking at the smart meter of last months leccy/gas bill was frightening to say the least & looks like I'll have to up the monthly DD yet again, I've been picking the very last of the leeks from some big garden planters. Not very big but perfick for casseroles, They've been chopped up & put in the freezer.
Cottage pie for tea tonight.

You're overworking it by cooking all that food while you're off with Covid .

Unless Meg is sneaking in and turning it on to cook more so she can have more treats

Just completed all my compliance stuff for work, only got 50 mins left and I'm off to pick up my wee girl from nursery and then pick up my fresh powdercoated alloy that badly needed doing from the powdercoaters.
