I'm so very sorry for your loss. I only had the privilege to meet him once, and found him to be warm, friendly and approachable. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I have been in contact with Eric's family since his sad passing.
They are appreciative of all your thoughts at this time. Allan, Eric's son has emailed the funeral arrangements for those that would like to pay their last respects. This is his son Allan, we are very proud of the response given on the Rover 75 forum, to see how he touched so many people. The date of the funeral is confirmed as the 30th of Jan, commencing at 3pm at St Chads Church, Kirkby, L32 5TH. For all the members who are able to pay their respects. |
