Default 'Hazing' to walnut dash

Hi, Has anyone seen this/no what it is/if it's treatable?

The 'end' pieces of my walnut dash trim have a hazy/foggy thing going on. It appears worse in certain light. Couple of pictures below (the second is delib. out of focus as it shows the issue a bit clearer!)

Any advice welcome.

Cheers,

ceb
