Not done this one before .but will have a look at the date and do it if free .definitely want to get the rover to a few more shows this year .Will probably be at brough next Sunday. As they have a lot of old bussed running between there and kirby steven. And a lot of classic cars and vans parked up at both places. You can jump on to the busses which run every 15 minutes or so between the 2 places . For free just drop a little donation into the box to help the lads pay for fuel. They run up to the fat lamb inn .which is a pub outside kirby steven .which is worth calling in as it's like a little motor museum. Well worth a run up on bus from brough or kirby steven

Hi all! Brand new newbie here, on my very first post!

I got my 75 last June and have only taken it to 1 show at Roker showground in Sunderland (with my cousin and his TF). My car needs a respray so looks a tad shabby at the mo, but other than a 'gentle' coolant leak it's in reasonable shape.

Would love to meet up for a drive or whatever. I'm heading down to The Great British Car Journey on Sunday 12th for the Rover 120 day. Anyone else going?

Am thinking of taking my 75 to the show at Hurworth on Sunday .normally take my 1938 austin .but it's getting a engine rebuild. It's a good show .it's a couple of miles outside Darlington. If you fancy going with your car .we can meet up in dton and take both .cars.

Firstly welcome to the club. Mine is in need of much love which I intend to provide in abundance and then I will be going to a lot of shows. Hopefully that will be next year but would love to get a local meet and greet set up in the meantime if anyone is interested?

Hi Xavier,
I for one would be interested in a local meet, I am aware from posts on here there are a few owners up here in the Northeast, I'm near Bishop Auckland so not far away...

Met a guy from Darlington (think it was DaveConnolly) at the National 25th Anniversary Meet at Gaydon (British Motor Museum), and there is a chap at Castleside (near Consett) who I messaged earlier in this thread...... so there is a few of us still around with 75/ZTs

Cheers Maurice (MDMH757)

Hi Everyone

I am still around in Castleside, Consett. My 75 restoration has been delayed due to the bad weather this winter but is not far off completion. It would be great to meet up with others once she is back on the road.

Regards
Gary

Sounds like we need a neutral venue. Any ideas in and around Bishop? I do not know how good any pubs or cafe are out that way although I have been to the Ramside Hall which is good as they have a huge car park. The other place I have seen is the Duke of York in Fir Tree but car park is small I think. Open for ideas but will be travelling in my non MG until mine is back on the road.
