Open bonnet, look directly above the headlight and you will see a hex head adjusting screw.

I'v tried to adjust the headlight because its pointing too low, I found said hex bolt (plastic) and have gone both directions, but light does not seem to move.
Is there a fix for this or should i go for a replacement.
Thanks.

The white adjuster sprocket/cog turns the blue one underneath. The blue one is/should be firmly attached to the spindle that enters the lamp. The spindle is threaded inside and turning it causes the beam adjuster to move in/out. The usual problem here is that the blue cog goes slack on the spindle, typically through rusting. I found a good quality super glue will creep into the join by capillary action and stick them together. Some people use epoxy resin/Araldite after removing the cog and cleaning up the spindle. Another problem is the loss of the blue cog altogether. The fix then requires some way of turning the spindle by hand. There's various ideas on that around the forum.
