Afternoon all! Just sticking my head in to check everyone is OK. Take care, Richard. Give yourself time to deal with what you need to get sorted.

Hope everyone else is safe and well!

I'm having a chilled listening session. I've recently received my Specially Commissioned 1969-1972 Thorens TD 150 Mk2 Turntable.

System is sounding better than ever! I love listening with Valves too! Take care all! ☀ ☀ ☀

Evening all, arrived back to the cold UK at 02:00 this morning, landed at East Mids where I did a very good impression of the Jamaican bobsled team when they arrived in Canada! Then drove to Barton, parked up and had a couple of hours kip before collecting the dogs then driving home.

Been a long day...

Cheers Ian, it's been quite warm here (23) Today, I still had a red hot bath and put the heating on for half an hour just to keep it toasty.

Welcome home, but keep it quiet about putting the heating on, you know how it affects Rod’s wallet.

Good morning all and welcome to the day

Richard - you wrote how talking doesn’t help, but in my experience for some, it is a problem halved and your mates are here for you.

We are now at the coast getting used to the heat and to the culture. The call to prayers start off at 04:50 every day. It takes a few days to acclimatise

There is very little evidence of Covid-19 here, we hardly see anyone wearing masks and in the town nearest to us, we have not seen the police trying to enforce the regulations. I think they got a fright when the mob turned on them. In May, a police officer was beheaded when he tried to enforce the night curfew on a motorbike rider. His colleagues were pelted with stones as they escaped.

What’s everyone up to?

Andy, welcome back
