Afternoon Rich and all, red hot here, picked the wrong day to start cleaning out the garage, it’s like a sauna in there.

Sorted out loads of stuff in the garage and put on market place on the book of faces.
Sorted out more paperwork. And just given Banana and Redfive a wash. It’s cloudy here but very muggy. Got Allen coming round later to sort out my loo. Got the most peculiar shaped lid and seat, and the lid has broken away which has made the seat loose. I was aware of the problem when I moved in. We have a new one, it came with the house, but how the heck it fits I have no idea.

Just been to the crem to lay some flowers for my dad in the remembrance garden. I just can’t help getting upset each time I go there.I’m alright going to a service at the chapel, it’s just the remembrance garden that brings it on. Have to take one of the hens to the vet tonight, I suspect she’s become egg bound, then off out for a meal as it’s daughter’s 21st next week, so we are going out tonight for that. Feel like I should be out on my bike, as I haven’t been at all this week, but it’s far too hot.Tomorrow..

Had a couple of really heavy showers here with thunder. Been hearing thunder in the distance for a while, thought I saw a flash immediately followed by thunder that rattled the house, Maya ran to the door barking, Pops disappeared behind the sofa, Suzy didn't give a toss and carried on eating her dinner

The evenings I find fun, windows wide open and covers thrown off the bed, everyone is naked and sweating while they moan that they cant sleep.
Millions of fans are spinning in peoples bedrooms all across the UK blowing more hot air, and you get up in the middle of the night for an ice cold drink and accidentally slip on the kitchen floor because the fridge has defrosted itself. I luv UK summers. |
