Morning, we had a very hard frost last night,a bit of excitement, the local hoodlums set fire to a disused caravan that was parked behind the old care home on the corner, down the road from us. It has just had a load of work done to it, and been converted into 1 bedroom apartments. Luckily the fire station, is only a couple of miles along the road, so they managed to extinguish the flames without any real damage to the building, save a length of melted guttering.. Still Baltic outside, although the frost has gone.

Morning all - the late riser has finally made it out of bed
I spent most of the weekend suffering from some sort of cold bug - coughing, sneezing, eyes and nose like leaking taps - 'orrible.
I used my own patented treatment - copious amounts of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum - it doesn't cure the bug, but you soon fall asleep and forget about it
Our snow has all disappeared overnight - a mix of rain and higher temperatures has shifted the lot. Monthly haircut day today - another £5.50 poorer
