Morning fellow chillers - literally this morning, if your temperatures are owt like mine. It's lovely and bright and sunny, but I did hear windscreens being scraped earlier whilst I was tucked up in a nice warm bed. I'm on another attic clearout job today - Bonfire Night is an excellent time to dispose of all sorts of waste. I've still got a couple of years' worth of company paperwork from my business which can now be incinerated.

Amongst the euphoria over Lewis Hamilton's achievement yesterday, another motor sports clean sweep was taking place in Wales.

A privately funded, British based (Cockermouth in Cumbria) World Rally team won the 2017 World Rally Championship for Manufacturers, beating factory backed teams from Hyundai, Toyota and Citroen
The same team provided the car for the World Rally Championship for Drivers winner, Sebastien Ogier
The same team provided the car for the Winner of this year's prestigious Wales Rally GB - Elfyn Evans, son of a Welsh bus driver, and the first Briton to win the event since the year 2000.
Oh - and just to round it off, the Rally GB Winner was also using BRITISH tyres !!

Hats off to Malcolm Wilson Motorsport, their fleet of Ford Fiestas, the drivers, and DMACK Tyres
