Default world in a real mess

cant believe how much of a mess the world is currently!!
Over here there talking about this virus lockdown going on for months with a prediction that it will take 10 years for the economy to get back to the previous level we had.
The are / will be mass business closures with predictions of an unemployment level of around 10 percent.
Small businesses will be devastated.
At least the big food retailers are doing ok- for now, until peoples money runs out.
They have now implemented a 7-8 am time for the elderly only to be able to get some food supplies without having to navigate the hoards.
My 96 year old mother reckons she has not seen anything like this in her time, scary stuff.

Sounds like much the same as we are experiencing here.
And similar to what I've heard from pals in Canada and the USA.

Almost no support for small businesses here so we face a completely uncertain next few months with potentially nothing left at the end of it. We employ about 10 people and have been operating since the early 90's.

My grandmother, 86, said much the same thing and added "It's worse than the war". At least there were rations so you knew you'd have at least something.

Don't I know it - Mrs Noc says I've got to get up early tomorrow and get the supplies in.

All done on purpose by the Chinese govt, release a virus onto the world, wait for the stocks a shares to collapse, buy it up including cheap gold, then wait for it all to recover, and bingo, two fingers to the American's for trying to limit cheap Chinese imports.
Oh, and check to see just how many people are affected by this in other communist countries.

We went to Iceland for some food we were surprised at how low the stock in the shop was, however it didnt prepare us for the shock in Sainsbury's then Tesco's, just what is up with people?

Thats the way it is here also. No toilet rolls, no milk, no bread, no eggs. Talking to a young couple yesterday while shopping, and they were saying they can not get baby food, nappies and toilet rolls and wipes for the little baby they had with them. Talk about nut cases. Where are they storing it all? And today we learnt that our granddaughter returned from Vietnam yesterday after going on a tour round the world after university, and has a cough so is having to go into self isolation for 14 days. What you say David, this is a many faceted occurrence. To many scenarios to mention here, but it is a good way of waging a war without waging a conventional war. Well up until know, I and my wife seem to be ok, and I am afraid I will still be doing what I normally do. If I stayed in I would be climbing the walls, so am going on with life as normal. Just an aside:- I wonder how many people are going to ‘think’ themselves into this virus thingy? The mind is a strange thing. Oh, that brings us back to the start.

Is this some sick way to tackle climate change?

Invent a world pandemic to kill off part of the population to save the planet, as they realise the doom of electric vehicles will not be the answer?

You will find that the two are indeed related! They are driven with the same fanaticism and blind ideology. It reminds me of the Chinese cultural revolution, where disastrous politics and blind loyalty to a lost cause killed millions and brought untold misery to additional millions. Authoritarian rulers can force mass hysteria and suffering, and people will accept it, even applaud it at times.
This bout of hysteria was again initiated by the Chinese, and quickly adopted by the left in Europe, for it to be then more or less routinely adopted by the rest of the world.
These same people would have striven for much of the same in order to implement their lunatic climate targets. It would also have called for suffering and hardship for millions. Now, at least, the do gooders are getting a taste of their own medicine, and my guess is they will not like it one little bit!
The fancy climate plans will have been blown sky high, and the next few years will be a matter of survival and the avoidance of hunger and disease.
This is without any question the deepest financial crisis since the depression 100 years ago, This time it will just be worse, as people have been driven off the land, and not 1 in 50 families (guess) would be able to feed themselves. That, of course is in sharp contrast to a 100 years ago, where far more people were connected to farming, and thus able to get by with little money. This time, sitting in a flat in town, you will be dead meat, if supplies or your money runs dry!
These young whippersnapper politicians, touting themselves on FB and other social platforms, watching zombie movies and generally with little or no life experience are going to lead the world into an abyss of unimaginable consequences.
This is truly a case of the cure being worse than the disease.
The financial system is finished, the fiat system and the reserve bank system are heading for the scrap heap, and Keynesian economics have totally and utterly failed. This crisis is a godsend for politicians and bankers to divert away the anger of the people. We are heading for dark dark times, and the Corona has only been the trigger, not the cause.
Unbridled greed and fascist governments have mismanaged and exploited people and saddled the world populations with unplayable debt.
the chickens are coming home to roost.
This aint gonna be funny.

claim theres a new virus around the world and none one can prove it and broadcast it on TV ( Actors maybe) and have marshal law " badged under your safety"

thats the way they normally do it

not convinced what we are being broadcasted and told is the real deal!! and im not alone
Read a report concerning the H1N1 virus in America (swine flu) and it mainly stated that the percentage of those that contracted it and died was minute compared to the percentage of those that contracted seasonal flu and died as a result.
How many people are killed in road accidents~? Should we all just sit in our cars and not drive them...just in case?
Can't say I'm convinced by the media hype but then again I do suffer from skepticemia!
Turns out the doc in China was letting his colleagues know about this virus (covid19) and how his patients were affected and advising them as to how to protect themselves. The Chicoms promptly coerced him into silence and forced him to state that he was spreading mis-information. He was visited by police at night......So then he dies of the virus???? Seems the Chicoms didn't want news of this spilling out and spoiling their attempts to set a record for meals dished up to the millions celebrating the Chinese New Year and neither did they want the world to know there was a problem as their economy might melt down. And so millions departing Wuhan after the celebrations going who knows where and taking this virus with them.
Blame it on their eating habits? well if they had just started doing what the media have us believe then maybe. But they have been doing this for eons so why has it taken so long for this virus to develop?
Wonder who's laboratory came up with this one?

I got sick of hearing about Prince Andrew's shinanagans, Andrew this, Andrew did that, then it was Brexit, Brexit, Brexit and now Coronavirus! Are they working through the alphabet for goodness sake? Change the channel! Oh, I did and it's on every one. Is there no good news? Even the missus is shouting at the telly. I've named her Victoria Meldrew!

Hi Dave. Hope you and Karen are both ok.Further to my other post above, we have been asking my son a few questions about our Granddaughter who has just returned from Vietnam after a bit of a world tour after finishing at uni. After touring Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, she was advised by her father to get back home NOW because borders were being shut, and she would have to stay where she was, she managed to get the next flight back ( prices were going up there) and she landed at Heathrow on Tuesday. Now, she has come back with a cough, and the question is:- was there any testing at Heathrow..............the answer is NO. nothing at all, not even questioned. Absolutely disgusting. She has had the cough for two/three weeks now, probably because of the dry weather over there?? But who knows. She is as I said, self isolating for 14 days now. And that is another thing, originally it was 28 days isolation, so what’s going on? I don’t think those who keep telling us this load of #£@& know what they are doing...........or do they. Anyway, I will still be going out and carrying on the same as usual. I don’t use public transport so that’s an advantage. The point is, where do we go from here? They seem to think that if everyone stays in it will go away. I hope they have told the virus to go away also. Mind you, it is showing us who the idiots are we have as neighbours. Ramble over. Now back to sleep for a couple of months.
