Well in the link provided by Arctic, I found the picture below which was originally provided by Duncan who is no longer a member on here but who has probably forgotten more about 75/ZTs than most of the rest of us will ever know, and so a copious amount of Tiger seal later the leak is now fixed on both sides of the car as proved by using a hose pipe in the tailgate hinge area on both sides of the car

Rob what you need is a couple of days hard rain to make sure it's cured, rain seems to work different than using an hose but hopefully you have got it sussed between you both R&S

Hi Steve, its been done over a week now and in that time we have had plenty of rain and no leaks, car has been left in a dismantled state inside until absolutely sure that it is fixed. It will be left a few more days in case but all looking good for a dry boot area

There’s quite a few joins where circled that dont seem to be sealed at all, I put some silicone on finger and tried to smear it on everything in there
Also sealed all the holes behind black trim, checked mine today and for first time in 6 years all is dry |
