Any remaps should be declared. There's been many many arguments and threads on this subject, questioning how detectable a remap is on our cars in the case of an insurance claim and whether you should bother informing the insurer or not, as it's just an excuse for them to take more money out of your pocket.

Mine reduced mine this year. Strangely the mk2 bumpers increased it.

My diesel is fast enough as it is, I'm more interested in getting everything sorted into as new condition, as safety is my prime objective, you can keep your 0-60 times. Mind each to his own, I suppose the mg has a different image.

I'd be interested I should finally have my diesel rebuilt by then
