If you want to see this car in action here it is

Terrible if sale due to an untimely death

From Two-Sixties,

Hi,

Please see my video posted on Youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjRt_LsASUA

Named Rover 75 V8 German Autobahn, this car is a completeley standard automtaic. I filmed its performance on level ground to give it a fair trial. I live in Belgium and this car reguarly travels long distances at this kind of speed and is a reliable high speed cruiser I like it.

What was Rovers claim for top speed, I thought it was 155MPH limited? but this car will only give me 150-152 MPH, In my experince you can surpass the manufacturers claim and get another 10 MPH or so but in this car this is not the case.

What i find interesting is how fast it goes from 100MPH - 140 MPH but at 150 MPH it it is constant but still has another 1000 RPM to the red line, maybe down hill she may pull 155-160MPH. I just wondered what other owners found in manual cars or in MG versions.By the way this car can do these speeds for Kilometer after Kilometer hour after hour, they dont get hot, rev well within tolerance and are very comfortable for wind noise, road speed and Road stability.

Let me know what you think to this and the video

All the best.

It's only available on V8s in place of the fuel consumption readout.

Nope. A feature only on the V8s....they swapped it for the fuel consumption indicator so as not to depress the owners..

I'd like to know a little more about the car - is it on Autotrader, or on-line? Any means of contacting the owner?
