Default J13DUN Abandoned ?

Spotted the last couple of mornings on the southbound A19 near Seaham is a blue ZT parked in a layby probably broken down. It has a traffic cone next to it which means the highways have got their eye on it . I've seen many a car just left on this road that ends up getting vandalised and then towed away for scrap.

Hi Ronnie, it's too nice a car to leave in a layby in the middle of nowhere so i'll have a drive down and check it again in the morning whilst I patrol the roads tomorrow. I'll leave one of my cards on the windscreen in case he needs breakdown cover at a cheap price. It might just save it from the vandals.

I just wonder why the owner hadn't invested in membership of a motoring organisation, so cheap these days, if he had, his 75 wouldn't be languishing in a lay-bys at the mercy of those who would damage it, it's 3 days now...

I drove down this morning and the car has gone and just the traffic cone in it's place so hopefully she's home safe and sound.

Happened along the A19 myself yesterday, was pleased to see it had been rescued.
