FBH pump replacement
I am having to replace the dosing pump as it is no longer working. On reading generic information on dosing pumps it says there should be an inline fuel filter before them. Looking underneath the car I cannot see one - is it somewhere else? Or did MG/Rover not fit one in which case is it worth me putting one in or is it not a worth while modification?
Thanks for your help. |

There's not a visible filter at the pump on the 75. I suspect it's filtered through the mesh in the tank. Probably no harm in fitting one as long as it's a) secure
b) up to the job of passing enough fuel without too much resistance. personally I wouldn't bother and I don't think anyone else here has either. (I could be wrong there).
