Non start new UBP
Hi there my 2003 mg zt 2.0cdti didnt start so called the rac and they diagnosed a faulty UBP because there was a constant live at the plug but it wasnt running, so fitted new intermotor pump and first turn of the ignition i herd it run for about 30secs, still the car didnt start, when cranking over the pump dosnt run atall so i removed the feed to the filter and turned the engine over and no fuel was pumping and no life to pump atall, the evu was damp which is now drying out, is there anyting else i can do thank you.

Clear the plenums before fitting the ecu back in or the same will happen again & if it still doesn't work drop Marinabrian a pm on here to see if your ecu can be saved.
How much fuel is in the tank?

Make sure you've removed the plastic caps from the inlet/outlet of the new pump, and check to make sure the ECM isn't swimming in a bath inside the plenum
