Low Oil Pressure under hard braking
Hi All
I have recently don't a oil change on my MG ZT 190+ and have noticed that under very hard braking I get a low oil pressure warning flash up for a second or so. The engine seems to be a bit "Tappety" but I'm not sure if thats normal. Any advice would be welcome. Regards Dave |

Sounds daft but have you checked the oil levels? I could be wrong but I would have thought the oil would need to be low for it to surge in the sump under hard braking.

Surely thats not the point here in the tech forum , fact is it is happening and it shouldn't What oil have you used? did you do a flush as well? how many miles? Something not right, tappety noise could also be a pointer to a problem.
