Default Rover Coupe revisited

A little while ago I had a go at turning my '75 into a coupe. It looked okay, but the roof line was all wrong so it looked more like a 2 door saloon .

Any how, today I was looking at some photos I took earlier in the year, and in one of them, I spotted a very nice Bentley that had a roof that just might fit with a little bit of tweaking. Looks a little better than my earlier effort .

Looking forward to seeing Gerry's one at the NEC on Friday - can't wait to see the real thing.

Cliff

Like that Cliff .

Hopefully if all goes well I'll be meeting up with Gerry again at the NEC on Saturday.

Cheers Jim. Me & the missus are going up on Friday. I was in two minds about going 'till I heard that Gerry's coupe would be there. Only ever seen it in photos so far, so looking forward to it. Shame we're not both going on the same day.

Tomorrows little treat: Off to Dunsfold to watch Top Gear being filmed. My brother managed to get a couple of tickets, so he's driving us up in his MG B .

I should also have said: Whilst I had the roof off the '75, I thought I'd take her out for a spin .

I just love the “work” you do on your cars.

It’s an art. I often wondered what Chip Foose could have done with the real thing.

Sorry but I don't like the look of that

Beutiful.

Could your skills stretch to a pic of a 75 coupe with a MK2 front end? Preferably in Tempest grey

I would have much preferred going on Friday myself Cliff but my good lady will be using her car.

An interesting day, with a LOT of standing around. My back was in agony by the end . Worth going though. They filmed an entire episode which will be the series opener for later in the year featuring an American actor "John Marsden" who I've never heard of . They also filmed a guest segment with Matt Baker for inclusion in another episode already filmed.
