If he's known in the scene as a legit trader, I'm happy to be proved wrong as he has some nice stuff, but I'm always a bit cautious about eBay.
Yes, unfortunately. Just had a case closed in my favour by ebay. Item was inaccruately described, poorly packaged and he has a terrible attitude towards his customers.

Do yourselves favour, and simply buy them directly from China yourselves on Taobao or Aliexpress. If they turn out to be any good perhaps DMGRS can stock them?

He's in Serbia according to eBay profile (where Djukic is of course a common surname). Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%90uki%C4%87

The plastic OEM T-piece is a classic failure point on the petrol/turbo coolant system - if you open your bonnet - look to the left of the engine bay - snug behind the top of the radiator - the main hose from the thermo goes into this t piece at the bottom- the one in the advert is a Turbo t piece as the little angled pipe feeds coolant to the turbo. As good quality metal t-pieces only come along so often I would as MarinaBrian advises purchase this while you can if you have a 1.8t engine.

Sometimes the Turbo t piece turbo angled pipe is manufactured at the wrong angle but this one looks perfect.

The plastic part fails if you fit normal jubilee clips which create a pinch point and collapses the plastic upon tightening them up usually too much.

SAIC fit spring clips with the plastic t-piece which give an even 360 degree grip around the plastic avoiding pinching/collapsing the plastic.

The usual timeline to failure of the plastic version is that the crimped end of large hoses on top of the t-piece start to lose tension over the years and small coolant staining leaks appear around the area, the owner cuts the clips off and fits jubilee clips in place and overtightens which cuts into the poor quality turbo model hose material too easily. The plastic piece distorts over time and leaks re-occur. Owner then starts looking around and blames the t-piece for the failure.

Another reason for the failure can be when any engine work is undertaken such as the elastomer on the head gasket blows and the head is removed, the tiny plastic pipe for the turbo coolant feed gets wraxed by heavy hands.

Bottom line is of course the alloy version will help minimise this issue, but it will never take away the fact that if you have a tiny leak of coolant you need a coolant level tank indicator fitted. That's the best safeguard for any model petrol or diesel.

Tazoautoparts is a good supplier of these oddities.

I'm not affiliated but he offers all this and even helped me get the 6 version of the thermostat housing as OHs has sprung a bit of a leak there and wasn't 100% an mgr housing would fit ... Pretty sure it will but they did modify it.

I haven't seen Tazo on Bay for quite a while now. Does he sell elsewhere?

Interesting. Tazo was set up as a Limited Company in 2017 and dissolved within a few months.

This isn't Tazoparts, is it? Very similar stock, some of the photos look very similar to the Tazo website
