I have heard of brake flexi pipes collapsing inside causing this problem.

As someone else has put, if you remove the pads and it spins at least you have narrowed down the issue.

I recently found a wheel bearing causing excessive drag. Swapped the hub and all was well.

Update. So, caliper was removed and the drag is still present. Also loosened the centre hub nut and drag is still present. What else could the issue be? Wheel bearing perhaps? Compared it to another 75 and the wheel on the other car was spinning nice and free unlike mine.

As Klarzy suggests, maybe it's just the "mechanics" of the structure; if you've been for a journey is there any significant difference in the hub temperatures? if not, then I would think there is not a problem.
