This will probably be the last update for this thread.
Doctors have just been, and my blood levels have shot up. So much so that most of today will be spent prepping me for discharge tomorrow. I'll still have to take it easy for a few months, so the first few nano's I may have to miss, but I'll almost certainly make to at least 1, possibly 2. As for the hickman line, it had become blocked overtime, but it wasn't serious since the blockage occurred at the entrance to the line, rather than the line itself (It's being removed today). I'm over the moon. All the hard graft, the pain and the suffering I've gone through, and it's been a wonderful success.

Congratulations to you. I've been following this thread from the start and I'm delighted on your behalf - even if that's nothing to the delight I'm sure you're feeling.
Enjoy the freedom.

That's excellent news. I know you've got more recovery ahead of you, but hopefully that's the worst over. Well done, and long may your improving health continue

Excellent news , hope to see you at the Nano meets, but not until you're fully recovered, don't be impatient and try to rush things, take time and get your strength up.
All the best, Martyn |

Agree with Martyn.
It'll be great to see you at a Nano but only when you're properly well enough to come along. In the meantime keep an eye on the "for sale" web sites and keep us all up to date with what's coming up for grabs. All the very best. Andy. |

Well done, Mr Bogbrush. Hope you get to enjoy some of your recovery time.
Why are you not attending the nanos, nobody is expecting you to change a gearbox.
