Superb John, a beauty. What I like about this photo is that you have gone up to the next level and created a powerful image with impact, using colour, darkness and light. For myself it sends a message, “from within the darkness, there is hope for a better tomorrow”.

Whilst attending the Walworth Castle meet Sunday 18 March Kindly arranged by Stu [Fusilier] apart from pics of our 'Cars in the snow' which are posted in the Walworth Castle Meet,North East Section on the Events & Meets page,I took some shots of the snow covered grounds of Walworth Castle,quite atmospheric & memorable of a wonderful venue.

Following on from last weeks Walworth Castle shot's,this time it's shot's from last Summer of the magnificently cleaned walls of the fire ruined shell of Lowther Castle Nr Penrith Cumbria.
Part's of the Castle such as the courtyard,stable buildings now incorporating a lovely cafe have been restored,in it's heyday,Lowther Castle grounds was apparently noted for it's magnificent Garden's. Most of the Garden's away from the the Castle area itself are now much overgrown,but pictures show they must have made a spectacular sight & today still command a very worthwhile visit. John.
