I watched Bullseye a couple nights back on Challenge TV. I think the date was 1988.
After the winners and runners up declined to gamble on the star prize the 3rd place team were brought back in to have a go and gamble their £50. They sadly lost. Jim cheerfully announced "Let's have a look what you could have won... A Rover Metro City, good economical motoring that, but never mind you've been great, you had to have a go and gamble that didn't you!" They don't make them like that anymore.
