Default Walnut dash kits on ebay

Hi all, has anyone any experience of fitting one of the kits that are available on eBay, just wondering about the quality and how well they fit over the existing dash, hate the technical grey dash that’s in the car!

It’s a very simple and easy job to swap over the full dash panels. I’m not sure about the kits you refer but walnut dash pieces are readily available. I’m sure if you use the search function on this forum you’ll find a ‘how to’ on replacing the trim. I’m actually swapping a walnut dash set for a black oak set today. Takes around an hour for the whole lot to be swapped over.

The only special tool required is a security torx for the panel over the passenger airbag.

Is it this kit you're referring to?

If so, its extra walnut trim, or a different finish, to supplement the main dash board colour. You stick it over the existing black plastic parts of the interior. I've bought some trim items from them, they're competitively priced, good quality and easy to fit.

If you don't like the technical grey dash, you would need to replace it with a different one in say walnut which is a completely different thing to do, again there are plenty of them available on Ebay, such as this:

In fact, I've just seen that a fellow Grimsby man Artemis, has posted in the Members items for sale section everything you'd need for £40 delivered. Ask him nicely and he may even fit it for you?!

eBay kit: https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...alnut+dash+kit

You'll probably get more opinions on the kits supplied by 'Simon' in Bulgaria.

See: https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...alnut+dash+kit

He's been selling these on the Forum for several years. I believe his colour matching with the OEM stuff is superior to other sellers. I can't comment from personal opinion though.

Bought a real wood walnut dash on e-bay. I am now in the process of changing everything else to walnut.Bought from Simon Bulgaria. You can buy a few pieces at a time if you need to. Perfect match.

I bought a complete wood dash to replace my plastic one in my tourer and having just done the passenger side vent, wow, the colour and shine of the wood is just sooo deep compared to the plastic one! will do the rest next week on my week off!
ps I have some plastic stuck on parts that the previous owner fitted and they are rather nice too (door switch surrounds, light surrounds etc)
