Default Yes, Airbag light is annoying.

Trying to put out that darn light. Underseat connectors checked and tie wrapped, side impact sensor visually ok (like new) connectors tie wrapped. A diagnostic threw up side crash airbag/sensor high resistance.
So, thinking of using terminal blocks or soldering underseat connectors and changing side impact sensor anyway, anything else I might try? I've looked at loads of threads, has anyone solved this from this stage?
Cheers

If the diagnostic threw up side impact, then I’ll be inclined to change the side impact sensor if you need one give me a shout

Update!
Decided the under seat connectors had to be ruled out before anything else, I cut 'em off and joined the wires using strip connectors. Problem solved, light out.
So, lesson here, just 'cos something looks all fine and brand new, you can't assume it is.

A little odd that it threw up a side impact sensor or circuit fault.

Thought that too, but it wasn't a T4 machine, but maybe the sensor is linked.

I’ve been chasing an airbag light for a while too.
Narrowed it down to the underseat connectors as always seemed to come on after I’d cleaned the interior (hoovered right under the seats).

I cut the original connectors off and crimped some insulated bullet connectors on.

That actually fixed it for a few months but now its back with a vengeance so a kindly club member is T4’ing it this weekend for me.

Bottom line - if its gone out for now, don’t hold your breath that it’s fixed for good!

I didn't trust crimped connectors, me being a 'nuts and bolts' bloke I felt more comfortable with the strip connectors. I mean, the originals 'looked' fine.
