Re-fitted the IPK Instrument Cluster with all those nasty lines removed by the star that is Rick-sta!
Wow.... what a difference. Now I can see the Traction Control Warning Light in high definition! Great job Rick...thanks again Happy Roving John

Made it SORN.
At £520 a year and being used only a couple of times a month at the moment it makes sense to wait until April.

Replaced the o/s/r disc and pads. Cleaned up the shoes and the rest with brake and clutch cleaner.
I'll be taking her for a drive soon to bed both new discs and pads in. But slight problem. The handbrake goes to 3 clicks, but with the handbrake on I try to set off in first and it moves forward. Do I need to bed in the brake shoes as well? I read on here about driving round with the handbrake partially on to help new shoes bed in. They are the old shoes at the moment. If I do this, how far and at what speed should I do this? Any advice appreciated

Hi,after fitting a handbrake compensator wired up an auxiliary power socket and rechargeable torch set up(BMW) and fitted a Webasto timer in the centre arm rest compartment while it was loose.Put soundproofing under the carpet between the rear seat and over the tunnel.Drivers seat put back. What started as a burnt out brake switch now over two weeks later hopefully will have a rest.Enjoyed using my launch car in the meantime.Started my spare V6 Connie SE for its periodic engine run.Still not decided what to do with it.Regards Ry....

A nice day for a complete clean inside and out, and a quick Polish too I know it won't stay clean for long

Just finished changing engine oil and filter at 96,600 miles. Need to tighten up the steering column now to stop it gradually dropping down slightly. It’s an mot fail and it’s due in March. Going to see if I can help my friend tomorrow to get his webasto going on his Connie cdt .

Took the Contemporary Se out for a 200mile runout today. First time since 25 November, just realised how much I’ve missed driving it.. 😁
