ZT-T towbar
Hi Chaps
Got myself a bargain, I hope, today but need to know if I have all the bits.... (apologies for not knowing correct part names!) steel that attaches to car, small bit of steelwork (that bolts to main bit) that ball attaches to...no ball though. Which one do I need, swan neck type? PCT electrics, PCT relay box but should I have a volton combi relay too? Used forum to get fitting instructions but is there anything I need to know? Paid £30 for it, bargain still?

Hi Wendy
Sounds like it could be a good buy. It depends on what you need/want. Firstly if you have a look at http://www.pct.eu.com/automotive/retail_frameset.htm assuming it is one of theirs. This should let you work out what you have. The tow-ball type can depend on the connection you have on your caravan/trailer ie. if al-ko stabiliser they recommend a special type ball otherwise a normal 50mm will do. Depending on whether you want just normal lights on the trailer or want to go for all the extras would determine what type of relay/ electrics you need. All the bits should be easy enough to get and add either locally or through e- bay. |
