Hmmm, this is an unexpected result. 60% unions 35% meteors.
Just to clarify the unions are on the left. To provide another perspective here are pictures of Rover 75s with the alloys - just in case anyone wants to change their mind. Why do people prefer the 16" Unions? |

I prefer the Unions as they look better on the Car and the Meteors don't.
Just my opinion and no offence intended whatsoever, but I feel that most of the "Shinier" Chromey Alloys look tacky. Unless they are Chrome Wire wheels on a Triumph or MG etc.. Out of both your Photos I would say that the Unions compliment your Car and fit very nicely with the Cars style, whereas the Meteors stick out like a sore thumb and really do nothing for the Cars presentation.

16" are a little bit more comfortable than 17" in my opinion. So I'd prefer the look of the Meteors (just a little bit), but in concern of the ride quality I'd go for the Unions. Especially because they look good, too.

IMO the Meteors look unfinished and a little on the cheapo side. Whereas the Unions ooze class and suit the car much better.
