Default Xenons

Hi All,

Just wondered what the school of thought was on these - they seem to be popular and much more efficient than normal halogens but do people replace both dipped and main bulbs or just one or the other?

just the dipped beam, xenons take a few seconds to warm up so would be useless as the main beam (unless it was a bi-xenon unit which the 75/ZT's are not)

After having factory fitted Xenons on the ZT, I would and could never, ever go back to normal headlamps.

They are simply a class above anything else.

Interestingly enough, "bi-xenon" units simply use a solenoid to move a flap/mask plate that blocks out the high beam until its required.

I never realised that before!

I would second that; the factory xenon dip beams are so much better than normal halogen lights
