Default Magnetizer/Demagnetizer £1.06

Heads-up.

only £1.06 + Free Delivery.

Great little stocking filler, ideal for magnetizing screwdrivers.

Any magnet from whatever source can do the same... Old Cathode Ray TV's round magnets, HDD magnets etc... Just stroke it slowly & gently along the length of the tool a few times and it will turn into a magnetised tool.... To demagnetise- stroke the other way or leave alone for a year or so.... (NO SMUT PLEASE - seriously, this is a family forum, otherwise this thread will be closed and/or posts removed)

Edit... How I wish I had not responded to this post ...

I don't know that the clean minded, good living members would have any imroper/smutty thoughts. Serious implications applied here. Get me my lawyer.

How does the demagnetiser work? Once my drivers are magnetised they seem to stay magnetised 'forever'.
Another question. How do you magnetise something without a magnet (or electricity or any other magnetised thing)?

get some electric cable wind it around a screwdriver or other then connect one end of the cable to the live of a 12v battery and touch the other end of cable to the negative you will get a spark and the tool will be magnetised

I had to find a speaker to magnetise the screwdriver I was using when changing an iPhone screen yesterday - screws so tiny I could hardly see them!
