Only prob is not sure when I could do it, tied up on Monday and my wife's friend from Germany arrives Tuesday for a few days. I don't think my disappearing down to London while she is here would go down well!

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Then of course there's the driving time, plus journey home time, so sensibly, pick up car mid late afternoon, drive into the night, stop for nap, deliver next morning and have another nap on the train home.

Looked costly at first but then again, your cost of travel to pick up car plus, loss of days pay would probably work out about the same.

Luckily I have Green Flag any car cover that in the unfortunate event of a breakdown covers me for cost of taking to destination (Fife)

So if you get stuck PM me and by the way, I too am retired so flexible re-dates.
As you ad Harry have both kindly offered, Alan, just want to check you would be free to go tomorrow? Guy wants it picked up by the afternoon

Thank you sincerely

Ian

Ian, a bit unfair of you to push it back to us to sort out, but

14th Garforth to Bickley (Bromley) = £52 cheapest single.

http://www.thetrainline.com/buyticke...Dep/1/0//0;0;0

15th Kirkaldy to Garforth = £106.90

http://www.thetrainline.com/buyticke...Dep/1/0//0;0;0

I appreciate Alan suggested I could do it for £75, so if you would like to see if you can arrange it for £75, but time is now desperately short for cheap rail bookings.....

I would assume the seller would be able to collect me from Bromley Station and you to drop me at Kirkcaldy station?

You are correct Harry - it is a bit unfair - very sorry about that.

I was getting confused about who was going from where to be frank and was under pressure at work at the same time and could not get it to work in my head. Sorry to bring you guys in on that - my mess.

I am contacting the seller to confirm pick up at his end and, of course, I would be delighted to do it at my end. :-)

Ian, who is doing the deed? Decisions need to be made, tickets booked and arrangements made. The longer you leave booking the tickets, the more expensive it becomes.

Sorry Harry - don't mean to waste your time - I just cant get away from work right at this minute - I am in all weekend, because one of my colleagues is off, and I cant organise it at this short notice.

Just stand down, if you please - clearly, it is not going to happen, given the time constraints and the fact that I cant get away from work to give it some thought. I am gonna be here all night by the looks of things

Hi my quote was assuming at least 48 hrs advance booking with a rail card
but I can't book for someone else on my card.
