Default Rover 25 GTi **SOLD**

Not sure if we're allowed to advertise other model of cars here, if not please remove.

I have for sale my much loved car details as follows

Rover 25GTi
1.8 VVC K-series engine
'W' Reg
Tahiti Blue
5 Door
Taxed til end of May
MOT til June
106,000(ish) Miles
Uprated headgasket
CD player
MG ZR sharkfin spoiler, with sideskirts, and front and rear bumper, though it has still got the rover 25 chrome grille fitted.
MG ZR 17" 'Straights' alloys, need refurbing, but with 3 ok tyres and 1 almost new.
Space saver spare wheel with jack etc still in the original styrene board

Small patches of rust need attention
handbrake needs adjusting for MOT
Air con doesn't work
Track rod end was an advisory last year, but had a CV joint replaced in January and they looked at the track rod ends and said they were fine

Car is located near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Really wish I could keep this car, but I have no where to store it now I've bought a ZT (anyone got garage/barn space for rent? )

Have it advertised elsewhere for £500 but would rather it went to a Rover enthusiast who will look after it, and cherish it, so £400 ONO takes it.

I believe there were only 1300 of these made, according to 'how many left' theres less than 500 now taxed.

Only condition of sale is, if you decide to sell in the future, give me 1st refusal on it!

The only provisos for a sale are being a subscribed member and that it is your car.

Some pictures may well aid the sale.

Any takers at £350? Otherwise it'll get left in the car park at work indefinitely....

What patches of rust are on the car??

Might be interested as have just had a get rid of Mrs HH's 200 due to rust, brakes, interior swimming pool and she's upset about it.

Cheers

Interior is mis match of GTi and ZR monaco at the moment, I will be putting it back to standard GTi trim level on Saturday, weather permitting, so will get some pics then. But it is pretty much immaculate, no wear on the seats, nice and clean, only marks I can think of is on the boot trim, when we moved house I had the fridge in the car, and its left a graze about 2 inches long on the interior boot trim, in the middle.

Rust:
both the rear wheel arches,
front driver side wheel arch has a patch at the top
front of the drivers door (where the door rubs the wiring loom)
a small bit above the windscreen, looks like it started as a stone chip, but not actually in danger of damaging the glass
and the usual bit around the lock on the tailgate.

I think theres a few stone chips that need doing, I've got the touch up 'paint pencil', but not had the time to do any of it.

It's all repairable, and would make a great car once thats been done.

I'm sure my mate said the brakes hadn't long been done when I bought it off him, and I've not done that many miles in it.

To be honest I genuinely just want to know it will go to a good home, be looked after, and get used.

*edit - I've got to go out in a bit, I'll try and get a few quick pics, but it could really do with a clean, and as I say, interior will be put back to standard*
