I agree, but the prices are actually not drastically different whoever the supplier is, that's my problem. How do I gauge the quality?

Even DMGRS parts are a pattern part at £90 + delivery

Look for DMGRS on here in the sellers shops.
I think Mat sells both types of wishbones, genuine and OEM I bought the OEM.
Ebay items may be ok but if there is any problems with on here with Mats stuff you won`t have any trouble getting it sorted out

We have the arms and bushes (as well as the bushes alone) in this link:
Front Wishbone and Components - 75/ZT

We source our arms and bushes from a UK supplier, and the bushes sold separately are either top quality First Line parts, or Genuine MG Rover items.

It's not a job you want to do twice!

Thanks all, I ended up purchasing the parts from a main parts retailer, I figured there's little value in saving £50 by getting "el cheapo" stuff off fleabay.

2 wishbones, 2 mounts, 2 droplinks and the bottom engine mount. Total came in at around £270. Took around 4 hours to fit it all yesterday, driver side mount bolts were an absolute nightmare to get out... all the ball joints were completely shot away, so loose it was ridiculous so glad I did the whole lot. And with the bottom mount on the engine done (the bolt sleeve had broken away from the rubber and was completely free) there's no judder when pulling away or accelerating. Left a hole in my pocket but really happy it's all running smoothly again.

Next job is 2 new tyres on the rear and a small fracture in one of the front alloys to be welded.

I agree and its one of the things I think were the club could help, by helping the membership source a refurbishment joint. As individuals, we have no chance, as a club with many members who could be potential customers, we have real clout.
