Regular sufferer but it,s been over a year since the last attack.
Hi George.
I used to suffer from that, very painful, but I found if I got the missus to walk across my back with her high heels on it seemed to take my mind off the Sciatica.

Any back pain isn't pleasent. I have 2 protruding discs that press on the S1 nerve and some days it's crippling. The best it feels is after the 9, 18 or 32 mile walk I do round the brecon beacons.

Keeping moving actually helps to ease it off.

Its after a period of sitting its worse.

I find that anyway.

i used to suffer really badly with my back, like that I could go for weeks or months with no issue then bang! laid up for a week. Finally saw a oesteopath in 2009, she diagnosed a twisted coccyx, had 3 sessions to manipulate it back into place and never had any bother since. Best money I've spent.

I get this very erratically Anna .

I think it was being on that flippin bus that brought it on .

It hit every hole in the road and the shock absorbers were non existant.

Add that to a rock hard seat and hey presto.
