The Top Gear that went before this atrocity was entertaining and still is when watched again and again as demonstrated by the fact Dave shows them all the time as does the BBC! If you want factual and serious car reviews and features read the sister magazine as I do.

I probably will not watch the new series, Clarkson, Hammond and May had a brilliant chemistry together as the saying goes 'will never be the same again'.

I'm not sure it'll be the same as the old one which was excellent. However I'll give it a go and see what it's like.

I think I will probably give it a miss. Amongst other things I was totally disgusted at their total disrespect of the Cenotaph

I doubt very much I'll bother to watch it, the old format was getting tired & I've a feeling this will turn into a TFI program. I certainly wont be paying owt to watch the three amigos on netfick or whatever it's called either....Bah Humbug

If you want boring drivel them watch 5th gear, I have tried on several occasions to get into that program but it just does not do it for me. Yes it might be factual but it is so boring I could fall asleep in front of it. The last one I watched they were road testing a Transit

The Clarkson Top Gear had little or no fact content but was entertaining on a Sunday evening. Even SWMBO watched an enjoyed it, I don't like Evans or LeBlanc so they will have to work hard to entertain me, as others have said I will watch the first episode to see.

I wont be paying to watch the new Top Gear on Netflicks, I pay enough already with my licence and Sky so it will be interesting to see how many stump up to watch it.

You can't blame 3 guys or gals for enjoying themselves and being paid to drive exotic cars. Cars that most of us would never see let alone drive. I must admit some of the pranks they got up to anyone me but the off switch works well on my tv. If you enjoy it watch it if not switch over your choice, however I'm sure I will get round to watching the new show at some stage and make my mind up then.

But I'm sure I won't pay extra to watch Clarkson & co On a new show.

I'm not a big TG fan but did enjoy the Specials and James May's documentaries strike the right balance of being informative and entertaining at the same time. I lost interest some years ago when Clarkson and Hammond slowly smashed up May's smart Alfa GTV - not sure what message they were trying to send but not the right one IMHO. Programmes evolve just like cars - you still get the howls of protest from some MG die hards that the F and TF are not "proper MG's" but it was the marque going in a new direction just like TG and they ended up being the best selling UK sportster for a few years. Frankly I hope it is a success just to show that there is life after JC...
