You know Steve the problem has always been i just dont know when its going to strike .
Its so erratic in onset and disappearing that by the time an appointment arrives it gone.

I think i will make an appointment to discuss with the doc the way ahead and see what he says .
He might prescribe something strong that i can keep till needed.

This has certainly been yhe worst yet.

I was prescribed Diclofenac when I first got sciatica, it worked well and I had some immense pain. Thing is though, apparently it's not very good for you, other than in small doses.

I remembered after you posted that i had a strip of Diflofenac left from my hernia operation last June .

Hurrah.
Just took two and waiting to see if they work ..
