Default Black Ash vinyl wanted for seat repair

I need to get hold of a piece of Black Ash vinyl to repair a tear in my 2003 Mk1 190+ drivers seat. I'm told I need about a metre length, but could possibly get by with less. Does anyone know where I could get hold of such material please?

(I've reposted this from the Technical Forum)

Thanks, TC

Tony

I have the same problem, and the route I am taking is this:

Bought one of these and intend to unpick the stitching and then use it on my seat to replace the damaged bit. A bit of work involved, but should work. I ended up paying £7.70 including delivery. have a look and see if it is suitable for you
