Default Mgs In The Park-Sunday 5th June 2011

http://www.oxfordshiremgoc.co.uk/

5th June 2011

Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the clubs public liability insurance. Also the owners club take no responsibility for the meet in any way.

UPDATE
We naw have our own dedicated parking area for 15 cars. 75 owners will also will be given the driver discount providing they are members of the club.

I have been advised members with 75s should place a club flyer on the dash and the driver will also get in free as with the Zts.

Please remember passengers have to pay the park fee.

I think it would be a good idea if we all put a flyer on the dash as it will promote the club.

a number of guy listed below are also members of the 260s and may decide to park with them no problem it just gives folks a choice.

MGs in the park Cotswold widle life park Burford.

Default MGs IN THE PARK 5th June 2011

Hi,
As Jake has said, the MGs IN THE PARK event takes place on Sunday, 5th June from 10am onwards.
I will post details of the event here today.
I am trying to find out if we can have the same arrangements for the 75s as we have negotiated for the MGs.

Default MGs IN THE PARK 5th June 2011

Here are the details of the event as promised....

MGs IN THE PARK 2011

SUNDAY, JUNE 5th 2011 from 10am onwards !!!

Hi to all you ZEDs...
Fancy a day out at minimum expense. Well, here is your chance.
Oxfordshire MG Owners Club are holding their 12th annual event known as MGs IN THE PARK' at the Cotswold Wildlife Park, 2 miles south on the A361 from the A40 roundabout at Burford. The park is on the right just off the A361. The park is well signposted from all directions.
The event starts at 10 am and goes through to around 4 pm with the Park closing just after 5pm.
ENTRY IS FREE TO ALL MGs AND THEIR DRIVERS. *Group park entrance fee (about £9.50) is payable for any passengers. There are group concessions for kids and OAPs.
Have a look at www.cotswoldwildlifepark.co.uk
Oxfordshire MG Owners Club make no charge for attending the MG event at this great venue. See www.oxfordshiremgoc.co.uk
In past years, we have attracted over 300 MGs of all types, old and new. We hope to welcome as many if not more this year.

During the late morning, there is an informal 'Pride of Ownership' competition (entry fee of £2.50 applies) with nice trophies for the best in class and an overall trophy for the 'car of the show'.
In the afternoon, there will be a 25-30 mile run out around the neighbouring Cotswold countryside. This has proved to be a very popular run out over the previous events
Apart from all that, there is total FREE *access to the Wild Life Park all day where there is a lot to see and do.
Why not clear your garage of all those spares you don't want and sell them next to your car. You could make a bob or two.
Bring along a picnic and make a day of it. No BBQs though.
So, come along. Its sure to be a 'Grand Day Out'.
(dogs welcome if kept on a leash)

I'll be there, but in Schroedinger's MG. Could be either the ZTT260 or the BGT. Will decide nearer the time.
