Hi everyone,

Im doing a summer restore on my MG ZT and would like to add the chrome from the 75, has anyone done this? any advice? the side flash top and bottom seem to be chrome under the paint, not too sure what to do with sceen and window trim though.

Thanks for your comments

I have done this - you can swop out for chrome everything except the 2 strips on the front bumper as they require welding i think. The purists will not like a chromed ZT - but i think they look fine on the car -especially on X Power grey.

It was possible to order the ZT with chrome on top of door and wings, and on certain colours looks better. I bought my trophy blue ZT for this very reason 9 years ago, and if that option was chosen, you got the chromed surround to the rear number plate plinth, also my preference. Now that the sill trims have started to flake, I shall complete the process!
