Default Mr Tom Hobbs works his magic again

Just had the car repaired by Tom Hobbs, it really is as good as all the photo's make it look.

Couldn't meet a nicer bloke either putting up with all my emails, texts and phone calls with good grace.

Photo's taken all through the job so in my case I could see how bad it really was.

I can't reccomend him enough and will certainly be calling on him in the future if the need arises.

Couple of photo's below and a link to the folder if anyone wants to see them all.

Google Drive Folder

Thanks for looking, sorry for the large post just thought someone may be interested.

Very interesting photos. How does Thomas get the rusty areas cleaned up - sandblasting? I've got early signs that I'll have to do some welding quite soon but have a set of Thomas' panels up in the attic which will make things a lot easier.

Regards

In all honesty I don't know and I forgot to ask him when I picked it up.

Good luck with your repairs I don't think you'll be disapointed.

Love looking at photos like that, so thanks for posting. It's always good to see the results of a proper crafts mans work .

She'll be god for many years to come now.

Every time I see photos of Tom's work I just marvel at them. It's such a great comfort that there are true craftsmen still a bout that have pride and passion in their work and do not rip people off. It's no wonder Tom has a waiting list of clients.

Mines off for his magic next week, front sill and whatever else he finds.

Nice to see he's upgraded to a 2 post ramp too.

If you remember, please ask him how he cleans everything up so well, my guess would be sandblasting but makes a mess in a workshop.

not sure if it is just not the done thing but people don't seem to say how much work costs.
His work looks to be excellent quality.

Hope i got this from the right site but he is not expensive, https://www.tjhobbs.com/information.html
WORKSHOP RATE FOR RESTORATION IS CHARGED AT £22.50 PER HOUR. A STANDARD DAY IS 8 HOURS WORKED.

You don’t worry about the price when the work is of that standard.
