Default IPK screen out of alignment

Only ever seen this once before, does anyone know what causes it?

I remember someone posted recently a photo of their IPK screen where it shifted the text over to the right and wasn't showing up in the centre as it should.

Anyone know a fix?

I remember getting weird effects once when messing with the resistors on the main pcb...

I dare say this may be a possibility...

You could try remelting all of the joints on the board to see if it cures it...

Mine does that sometimes, usually find that switching off and back on, it goes back to normal.

Mine is the same, I've got a new screen on order from you as it needs replacing as it's full of lines and missing pixels.
When I switch the car on the display is usually centred, but within a few minutes it has shifted to the right, I assumed (as in a guess based on little or no evidence) this was a fault of the actual screen and associated wiring ribbon,

I had this with my R75 after I got a new display from Rick-Sta. I didn't use the 75 that much at the time and the problem stayed. After a few weeks I started to use the R75 on a daily basis. After a day or two the problem with the shifted/garbled display disappeared and never returned. I suspect the battery is the cause. Not sure if the voltage is the reason or the amps.

Interesting stuff, thanks folks. Battery could be a pointer as my headlights have been flickering at idle under heavy electrical load. Could be the alternator but it seems to be reading a good voltage so I’m going to swap out the led sidelights as have read they can cause this flickering issue and I wonder if they are the root cause of the display too? Will come back once I know more

Well popped the standard sidelight bulbs back in but still getting the IPK going out of alignment. It does definitely tie in with the engine having an occasional stumble though which would likely also give flickering headlights (was daylight and I never tried headlights at this time but confident they would flicker).
Battery is fairly new and showing a good charge, with obd volt meter reading from a low of 13.3 up to 14.something at idle.

Alternator playing up?

The car is being driven on a daily basis or occasionally? If you drive it daily and the battery is good and the alternator is OK than I fear your only option is to consult an expert. A bit out of my league
