Early V6 top radiator hose PCH119241
I am after an early V6 top radiator hose, PCH119241.
This appears to be slightly longer than the later hose. It was fitted until VIN 208517 - so all Cowley cars and some of the early Longbridge cars. Must be in excellent condition. Please let me know if you can help Thanks, Bolin.

Unfortunately Xpart's RRP of £135 is a bit excessive for my liking, especially as a near-identical hose 35mm shorter costs only £44
I am happy to take the chance of a second-hand one in excellent condition.

Daft question, why not buy the shorter one and bridge it with some stainless tube and a bit of short pipe?

Thank you - if it is the longer hose and doesn't have any splits, cracks, squashing from clips or any other damage then I will be very happy to buy it from you.

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to look today. However, if I do have it, it has been fitted to a car, so may have "squashing from clips". Let me have a look and I will PM some pics if it's the right part and go from there.

Thanks Darren
With the squashing I was just referring to when a hose has been over-tightened and got squashed, as long as the ends look normal that will be fine If it is longer earlier version then the end which connects to the rad elbow will be about 35mm longer than the one on your 190

Replace radiator hose No. PCH119241 to No. PCH119242
In order to replace the old, longer and more expensive radiator hose No. PCH119241, to 3.5 cm shorter and much cheaper radiator hose No. PCH119242, replace the upper radiator elbow of the old short type with e.g. a used elbow from a newer radiator after 2001. This elbow is longer, The cost of replacement can be reduced by purchasing a damaged radiator with such an elbow.

The problem I had was that I replaced the later longer plastic elbow with a stainless steel one from Xpart, which was the same length as the earlier shorter type.
