Default How to add a more visible flashing alarm LED

This is a fairly simple mod and very cheap for the cost of one Red LED, just a couple of wires to connect which can either be spliced and soldered or you could use scotch locks

Credit goes to Steve (Devilish) for the idea

A great how to. Nice tidy job!

I was planning something similar when I do my change of headlights. I was going to place a single Led into each headlight, that would flash when the alarm was "armed".

Would it be possible to do this mod using a BMW interior mirror with the red led on the base?

Providing it comes apart to give you access behind the glass as you will need to drill a small hole for the LED and one for the wire

Why not just use the LED already on the BMW mirror and add 2 wires to the connector?

I'm not familiar with the BMW mirror but sounds like there might already be an LED on it you can use
