Default Scrapping car- what to keep?

I have used a Moonstone Green 2001 Classic SE saloon CDT,which is Pre Project Drive as an engine donor for my Tourer.

As it is in the work carpark I have to get rid of soon.

I have transferred the usual suspects such as FBH, dash and also the 15" wheels for winter tyres to be fitted.

Before I scrap the car, are there any other bits I should consider stripping off it?

All ideas welcome!

Everything, seriously. Keep the car a week and take everything, wings, bumpers, seats the whole lot and sell it on the forum, you may only get £30 for a cloth interir but it may help someone out, and spare window regulators ec, all sorts fail.

Hi

If I was you I would collect a big bag of spare bits like scuttle clips, trim, undertray screws etc etc.

You know you will need one if you don't!

Take off as much as you can,as Colin says, every little bit will hopefully be of use to someone. Then just scrap the shell

handbrake compensator, fuses/boxes, air con pipe that gets rubbed (if it hasnt), bonnet cables. Any parts such as radiators, battery are worth weighing in for scrap.

Hi, I'm in need of a rubber bellows from the clutch master cylinder if you are able to provide please. Another example of unusual parts that someone will always want for these wonderful cars.

Good luck, TC
